I was awake at 5.45am, we had set alarm for 6.30am, so got up had a shower, put some more stuff in our cases, before we went up to our final breakfast in the trellis restaurant. We never bother if we sit on a big table or on our own, today we sat with six others two from Toronto! and the rest from USA, we were comparing flight times etc, think we were the luckiest, as most were leaving after us.
Back to the room to do last minute packing, then a cup if tea/coffee in our coffee bar, then join the queue outside for a bus, didn’t take long, in fact that part went very smoothly. Outside the terminal everyone was looking for their coach or taxi, we were told we would be picked up at 11am, so as it was only 9.30am we would have to wait. Finally someone asked us for our names, and yippee it was our time, not bad 10.15am and if we had seen our name earlier I am sure we would have left before then, never mind we have plenty of time. At airport, we queued for our seats, which also seemed to work well, I persuaded the man to let me have an extra bag in the hold, which he agreed, so yippee, no heavy stuff, very good! Next stop café for a quick coffee, and internet, managed to get on line again, so sent some emails off.
Now sitting on plane for twelve hours, so not much will happen, hopefully!so some facts about our trip….

The cruise ship, was very well organised, and we did not want for anything, food was excellent, which is why we have put on so much weight! We both feel like walking barrels, but when we are back home we start all over again, and try and lose it.
We have a bit of dilemma where to go next, back to South America or China and Japan, we will just have to,do some homework I will,sign off now as I am going to watch “12 years a slave”‘, it was a very good film.
We arrived Madrid at 6.15am reasonable flight, just want to get to Heathrow now ……
